Dress for a Successful Photo Shoot
You’d like to lose ten pounds. You’d rather have better hair. Your style isn’t exactly conducive to a great photo. You’re trying to get ready, but isn’t there some way to get rid of those jawls your Granddaddy left you?
While you have many options that will help you be photo ready, there are some things you can’t change. Let’s start with what you can change and we’ll take care of the rest.
It’s the color.
Let’s start with good basic colors and move forward from there. If it’s a group shot, coordinate. If it’s an individual portrait, go dark. Focus on the darkest color you look “terrific” wearing and wear it close to your face.
Stick with a solid color, with perhaps one accent color. Black with red, brown with pale blue, navy blue with lime green are all great combinations, but find one that says “you” and wear it with pizazz.
It’s the fit.
Make sure whatever you wear fits you perfectly. Can’t fix body flaws… fix the clothing. Adjust the cut, redo seams, or hem the edges to improve the fit. Make certain the clothing you select fits you perfect.
Style right? Classic clothing designs offer better photo ops, unless you’re looking for that unique, slightly erotic look, in which case, go for the wild style. Jackets with a little flair, slim the hips. Dresses with v-necks slim the throat. Angular geometrics enhance curves, and curvy styles enhance slim, angular figures.
Focus on your best features to achieve a memorable photo shoot with the best turned out photos.
